A Montreal Homecoming Meets Miami Energy
Though Alex and Lauren call Miami home, it was important to them that their wedding reflect Alex’s Montreal roots and feel like an all-out celebration. Designed to be immersive, high-energy, and packed with entertainment, their July 2024 wedding at the historic St. James Theatre brought together the romance of Montreal with a cosmopolitan party atmosphere. From the intimate ceremony in the Princess Grace Mezzanine to the vibrant cocktail dinatoire evening, every element was crafted to feel fun, luxurious, and uniquely them.

A Party-First Wedding, Built from the Heart
Working closely with Alex and Lauren, we designed a wedding that embraced bold glamour, great food, and unforgettable entertainment. The venue’s dramatic architecture was complemented by a design palette of black, gold, and metallics, accented with hundreds of candles for a romantic-meets-edgy vibe. We curated a food station experience inspired by the couple’s favorite dishes and local Montreal classics, alongside a premium open bar and a hidden tequila speakeasy in the theatre’s vault.
Behind the scenes, we managed every detail—from technical production and entertainment logistics to rehearsal dinner planning and guest communication via custom invites and website.
A Night of Love, Lights & Live Acts
The celebration kicked off with a heartfelt ceremony in the Princess Grace Mezzanine, then transformed into a high-octane evening in the ballroom. Guests enjoyed roaming food stations, sipped on cocktails, and danced the night away to DJ Eric the Tutor. Surprise performances throughout the night included a tam-tam player, an electric violinist, and a show-stopping aerialist, each adding a dynamic layer of entertainment and Instagram-worthy moments. It was a wedding that truly delivered on fun, flair, and unforgettable memories.
