The Event Agency created a luxury outdoor overnight event bringing guests into nature for the launch of Mazda's Participation CX-50.
About the event
With the introduction of it's CX-50 model, Mazda launched the CX-50 Minute Challenge, in collaboration with non-profit ParticipACTION, to encourage Canadians to spend more time in nature to enhance their wellbeing.
To celebrate the launch of the CX-50 initiative, Mazda Canada tasked The Event Agency with bringing attendees into nature for an out-of-the-box luxury overnight experience. T.E.A. would need to source a location that would equally fulfill its meeting and accommodation requirements for guests from all over Canada while offering an environment of conventional and unconventional entertainment options.
After sourcing Whispering Springs Retreat in Ontario, The Event Agency created a two day program in collaboration with Prspktv Media, including a traditional luxury Japanese tapas experience, and Shinrin-yoku hiking guides who instructed the group on the practice of Japanese Forest Bathing, based on ancient Shinto and Buddhist well-being practices.
From arrival logistics management, to technical management, to table scheme and decor, no detail was overlooked in the process of creating this unique glamping experience. "We hand selected every plate to match every Japanese tapas dish because the experience just isn't the same if the plating isn't just right," explains T.E.A founder Kaitlin Zwirek, who oversaw the event.
